It’s been a long road. My first book was published in December 2002, which makes me a veritable dinosaur in today’s industry. And honestly, I thought I’d retired. I thought I was done. The words stopped coming. My muse went to some sunny beach somewhere and didn’t leave a forwarding address. And so, when I finally decided I’d better build this website after more than two years without one, I thought it’d be a graveyard–a legacy to a long career, but one that would produce no more books.
I’d dealt with some crappy business stuff. My health decided I no longer had it “under control” and my pain levels spiraled. Frankly, it was all I could to make it day-by-day, and even then I wondered.
Then, out of the blue, I got a postcard from my muse. Was it ready to come back full time? No, but it was thinking about it. Maybe.
So while many of the “new releases” posted here, I won’t say I’m officially retired. There may be a story in me, yet.
Wishing you seasons of passion,
