My review:
I’ll let you in on a secret. I’ve never read an mpreg book before. I’d heard of it. I knew the sub-genre had a huge, devoted following. But I hadn’t read one…until now. The blurb for Omega Defiant immediately hooked me, and I found myself immediately drawn into this well-crated story. Both characters were very three-dimensional, with believable back stories that were often at odds with each other, emotions that had me tearing up a few times, and scorching hot love scenes. For the most part the action moved forward, though I knew where things were headed a few times as I read, the twists and turns were no less gripping and believable for having been telegraphed earlier in the story. I found the first book in the series for free on Amazon and I immediately snagged it, because Dessa Lux has built a wonderful world populated with interesting characters who tackle a lot of modern issues, all while dealing with the pack dynamics of werewolves. Apparently even werewolves need to move into the 20th century too. I very much enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. Well done!
