Your second question only allows for one answer but I use Amazon, Kobo, Smashwords, and independent bookstores (like Totally Bound) for ebooks. Target and a local used bookstore for print.
well, the “choose all that apply” option did not work. When I can, I buy books directly from the publisher to make sure the the auhor gets the biggest royalty possible. Otherwise, I have an iPhone, so I use iBooks.
It wouldn’t let me choose more than one buying forum. I actually get my books from several different sites. Amazon, Barnes &Noble, Google Play and Kobo, plus Smashwords and BookSprout.
Your second question didn’t accept any more than one answer. I buy e-books from Kindle, Smashwords, Evernight, Changeling, Extasy, Kobo and regular books from Amazon.
I would love to have KU or Audible but they require a credit card even before you can sign up for a free month. Even if you have money on a gift card on your account.
FYI, and no offense if your books are priced higher (I haven’t checked as of yet), but most of my purchases are of the $.99 variety. I’m on a small retirement pension and have to stretch out those precious dollars. Occasionally I buy a higher-priced book, if it really catches my interest.
Most of my current reading is actually on KU, with nine books there now. I still have to work part-time, so my time available for reading is somewhat restricted. The purchased books in my Kindle are more or less being stockpiled for when I have to quit working, not later than about a year or so from now.
Places to purchase will only allow one selection I buy from Amazon, Amazon Australia, Google and author sites I occasionally buy from Kobo if I can’t get a book from anywhere else
I buy books or claim free books from amazon, Google play, book funnel and prolific works (instafreebie). I claim all genres and story types. Paranormal romance is my main favorite. But I love all books.
I find it cheaper to use Ku as i would otherwise spend too much on books. When authors suggest books for me, if they aren’t on ku i rarely take them up.
I find booksprout difficult and clunky so use it rarely.
I purchase through Amazon, Smashwords, Payhip (This way I can buy direct from an author and own a copy of their work to download unlike on Amazon where my copy can be removed from my account or become unavailable based on Amazon’s prerogative.) , and direct from multiple publisher sites such as Dreamspinner, Pride Publishing, Riptide, Excitica, or Ninestar Press.
OK the above survey had problems both for me and in itself.
First i used to be in KU but never got it to work properly It seemed to load properly and I could load books into it. But even at the max size I could mate the text it large enough to read. Multiple talks/letters to Amazon resulted in no so I just left the files there hoping I would find another way to read the books. Amazon finally took KU away from me. (Long story about war between me and Amazon about credit card – when they finally took the card – also took KU)
Second question Favorite place to get books is Smashwords and second is Barnes and Nobel. Although it said choose all that apply only registered one choice
Couldn’t take the poll because you left out a very important resource for those with limited income/space–the public library. Although I still occasionally buy a book, almost all of my reading material comes from the library–either in physical form or as an ebook, almost all of which are via Kindle.
I buy books at other websites. I mostly have KU for my mom who is on a limited income but loves to read and it gives her the freedom to read whatever she wants.
I don’t purchase books in a series. If I can’t read them on KU then I just don’t read them unless I am on the reviewer list. I have to watch my money. I am disabled.

2nd question would only allow me to choose one. I buy from all of them except Kobo and google play.
It would not let me select multiple stores. Google play was the other store.

I am a huge fan of KU. It gives me the opportunity to read books that, ordinarily, I might not pick up.
I would love to have KU or Audible but they require a credit card even before you can sign up for a free month. Even if you have money on a gift card on your account.
It would not let me click more than one. I buy from both Amazon and B&N.
I often grab books for free through Book Funnel and author giveaways
I purchase from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Google Play, Smashwords and Author sites
The choose all option on where I buy books isn’t working. I purchase from Kindle, Barnes and Noble, Kobo and Independents.
I had to an American address because the books I wanted to read were only available in the States.
I am on a limited budget now so I cannot buy books so often.
Comment
Please don’t leave Amazon or KU
You can’t choose multiples. I buy ebooks from Amazon and books from Amazon and Barnes and Noble
Love the books

Doing a great job
I tend to only buy books occasionally if I am gifted an amazon voucher, otherwise I tend to just use KU

I find booksprout difficult and clunky so use it rarely.
If I love a book I’ve read in KU I will very occasionally purchase it

I love using Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. They make it so easy to read and purchase books without all the hassle.
Keep on producing beautiful books at affordable prices and I’ll keep purchasing them! Thank you.
I enjoy reading your books.
