I had an absolute blast writing for the Brotherhood Protectors world last year–so much so that I’ve got new books planned for this year! (Check out the boxed set of all my BHP world books that just came out.) In planning this new series, I realized I wanted to tie it into something of my own. I haven’t written many contemporaries, and certainly military (former) heroes weren’t something I’d written a lot of. But I’d just finished a story for an anthology my Naughty Literati sisters and I would be releasing and I wanted to continue. Combine that with my love of music and band (my Urban Fantasy pen name has a series going on right now in my magic+music world), and well, add in a well-played pun, and I bring you Treble Security.
Four men, all former Marines, who were in the Marine Corps band, come together to build an elite security company protecting musicians (and their expensive instruments). I’ve got four books planned so far, and the first one has been written and is on my editing list.
I’m working on cover concepts now and will bring you more information as soon as I have it. I hope to release no later than March.
Let’s just say Johnny and Harley were a blast to write, and Colin and Lacole (Harley’s assistant) are up next. This is going to be one, fun ride.
